Soerke Peters – Managing Partner
Soerke Peters, Executive Chef at the popular Los Angeles restaurant Ca’ del Sole, is an acclaimed international cook who has won the prestigious Rudolf Achenbach Preis Award and received top honors from the world-renowned Chaine des Rotisseurs.
Chef Peters knew even as a young boy in Northern Germany that cooking would be his career. Primary among his early influences was his grandmother whom he loved to watch, help and learn from while she prepared the family meals.
Peters had his first apprenticeship at the age of 16 and soon he was working steadily in responsible positions at Michelin three star-rated restaurants and hotels. He moved to New York to become Executive Chef at Coco Pazzo where he met Matteo Ferdinandi.
At Ca’ del Sole, Peters has worked with countless boutique artisan suppliers and has established business relationships with the best. As a result, he is especially suited to his post at Froma on Melrose and is determined to set new standards in L.A.’s retail food industry.
